Universal Fit Male External Catheter

QiVi is a novel universal fit male external catheter which works on all anatomy sizes. The device is designed for bedridden or patients with limited mobility to manage urinary incontinence using negative pressure suction. The device can be coupled with wall suction units (commonly found in acute care settings) or portable suction units at 40mmHg negative pressure. The pouch is designed to remain dry, prevent moisture associated pressure injury and provide an odor free environment

How to Use QiVi FEC

Step 1 – Skin Prep

After Positioning patient in supine position, clean and dry the suprapubic region with the skin prep wipe provided in package.It is advised to trim hair follicles to improve product performance..

Step 2 – Placement

Slide the penile shaft until the orifice of catheter is flush at the base of the shaft

Step 3 – Apply adhesive

Hold device in place and apply adhesive from top to bottom smoothly over suprapubic region all around the anatomy. Repeat the process with the second half of the adhesive liner.

Step 4 – Connection

Connect a wall suction unit/portable suction unit with QiVi using a suction tube and set vacuum at 40mmHg of continuous pressure

Step 5 – Management

Ensure tubing is connected at all time when device is in use. Replace every 12-24 hours
